Festivals where you can take toddlers along to.

I've heard that there'll be a particularly good toddlers' area here ;)

nobody seems to have bothered responding to this, which is fine.
but just in case, family camp was a half arsed disaster and the people running it are a shameless parcel of useless hippy cunts.

If you're going, go armed.

:( That was me trying to be 'child friendly', usually we actively discourage toddlers from disrupting our nice festival blag.
It would have been remiss of me to deny myself the ejaculatory pleasure of shouting 'spam' at a vegan.

There's an article in this for the U75 site, isn't there? Be good to see all the child friendly fests listed and rated...five dummies for good ones!

In my experience, admittedly somewhat outdated now, whether a festival is child friendly has more to do with the child and the parents than the festival. My daughter was taken to dozens of festivals when she was little and, when there wasn't a specific children's area, we created our own amusement. In some respects that was better, in fact, since she had to fit in with me and my needs. At Glastonbury I spent far too much time in the children's field, because she was old enough to know what was going on there, but not old enough to be left there :)

Judging by last year I'd say that Endorse it in Dorset was pretty kiddie friendly with a kids area etc.

Also, Knockengorroch in SW Scotland is a great wee festie for kids...
