I have done so too today. Mayhaps the same thread....
Although I have made a point of challenging such incidents before I do so in case people see the error of their ways!

lol.and I never saw either of them![]()
I was trying to deal with it myself (*awaits further guffaws*) without reporting and making work for the hard pressed mods. Though when I was invited to self harm by chopping my own arm off I was tempted. I was deterred by the 'but it's all fun and if you take offence you're humourless' angle though.

It is strange, but today's young women are far more reluctant to call themselves "feminists" than they were in the 1980's. Perhaps they feel that the practical aims of feminism have been achieved. And perhaps they fear evoking the stereotype that still goes along with the term. Some are willing to refer to themselves as "post-feminist," but that just means the same as "non-feminist" as far as I can see.
Indeed. Perhaps I'm cranky, and utterly devoid of all humour, but several references to self-harm were enough for me![]()
o rly, dwyer. do you consider yourself a feminist?
I've always been reluctant to call myself a feminist. Still am. Nothing to do with feminism and all to do with the response to the term.
"If you're not amused, you are confused, and mainly abused".
This, sort of. I think after recent grievances I'm actually more likely to call myself a feminist now. I'm stubborn like that.![]()
