Deep Dish - Yoshiesque
Moving Shadow - MSX 00.1
Coldcut - 70 Minutes of Madness
Sander Kleinenberg's Essential Mix

Although this thread has pointed out about nine jillion mixes I haven't heard of, so I might have to shoot off and hammer my DSL connection and grab a few :D

some of those essential mix albums have been suprisingly good - jon carter (featuring dj kool, dillinger, rebel mc, dj zinc etc) was ace. and david holmes was amazing. :)

An album that has got me into a lot of trouble with neighbours is the Monoid Records mix album by DJ Le Monde. Fabulous dark stuff.

Disco D'n'B - Sonic & Silver (I'm not a massive D'n'B fan, but I love this album!)

Choci's Chewns Alternative Chunks Disc 1

Reactivate 10

Lisa Lashes Extreme Euphoria II disc 1

It's F**king 'Aving It 2 - Filthy Acid Techno (despite the awful title)

I've also just got hold of way toooo much music from a friend and my favorites may change once I listen to them...

Coldcut - Journeys by DJ
DJ Rolando - Vibrations
DiY - 10 Years of DiY
Richie Hawtin - DE9: Closer to the Edit
430 West - Detroit Calling
430 West - Back to the Rhythm

Introspective of House vol 1 - John Kelly CD1 especially ('Now this is how it started' 'When I say go, scream really loud' etc . . .) tho the Jules and Fontaine one's aren't too bad either.

Slammin' Vinyl old school mix by Slipmatt, queet good . . .

Liam Howlett - Dirtchamber Sessions 1 <- Amazing Mix!!
Coldcut - Journey By DJs <- Nuff Said
Top Buzz - Live at fantazia 91 <- For Nostalgic memories that come with it

i forgot stanton warriors' "the stanton session" - i'm listening to it today for the first time in ages, it's still wicked :D

reminds me of foo though, which is a little bit disconcerting.....

Good call on DE9: Closer to the edit.

Also X-Mix 3 with Hawtin and Acquaviva is excellent. Actually the Acquaviva half of that mix is pure class.

coldcut's jdj is still the weapon of choice in most situations, along with the orange & green ones in the cream separates triplepack (deepdish and ryder & bleasdale respectively), and a mixmag freebie, krafty kuts's 'instant party'.

on the urban front, mysteryguest's 'radio mystery play' earns a third vote from me, and skim's 'coldharbour mix', 'burning decks wiretap' & 'winter warmers' have all had long stints on my cd player, along with electroplated's 'assault on precinct 75', 'breaks in the nu year' and (the possibly named something else :o) 'breaks mix', fozzie's 'lyric maker' and tendril's ragga mix... what a talented bunch

John Digweed - any global underground they are all good. Ill also go with Cloos Darren Emerson - Global unedrground.

Agreeing with lots on here already, Coldcut's JDJ outing and the Electro Comps of course, but would have to add:

Kruder & Dorfmeister DJ Kicks - perfect post-club mix
James Lavelle's Cream Live CD (although actually mixed by the Psychonauts upon closer inspection and only CHOSEN by Lavelle. Wimp.)
Freddie Fresh presents B-Boy Stance - cheers to BB for that one

When it comes down to it, its got to be mixtapes though, most of which now reside unlabelled and unboxed in a bag in my cupboard. Really need to get them to MP3.

Ellis D @ Fantazia 1993
Jumping Jack Frost feat. Skibbadee, Det and Five-O @ One Nation 1996
Don FM tape circa 1992

Not quite a mix album but I've been caning DJ C's Boots mix since I downloaded it a couple of months ago.

http://www.mashit.com/djc/DJ_C-Boots_Tracklist.html

Worth it for the mash up of Old Dirty Bastard and the Cure alone.

Do yourself a favour and download - you won't regret it!

Panjabi Hit Squad - Bangra Pauna - AV8
Shock horror, someone else mentions Panjabi Hit Squad. They are great but I can't for the life of me find "Hai Hai" on slsk. Bugger.

I will second killer B's nomination for DJ Assualt, although I might take "Off The Chain For The Y2K" instead, ramming through about 85 tracks in just over an hour. On the Detroit booty bass tip, Disco D's "A Night At The Booty Bar" is great too.

Finally, OK it's actually a live album but Daft Punk's "Alive 1997" is done in the mix and is great too, taking in all their best stuff.

Strange games and funky things - Kenny Dope/DJ Spinna

If you love hip hop style mixing with the best raregroove and funk then your are going to love these 2 mix's, Roy Ayres 'everyone loves the sunshine' getting scratched up by Kenny Dope gets me every time.

Fabric 9 - Jacques Lu Cont mix. Still sounds fantastic + wins extra points for successfully mixing Strauss into Euryhtmics' Sweet Dreams.

+ a Nasty Dirty Sex Music demo I got at the start of the year, very good + very grotty house

Global Underground 009 - Sasha
Cracking music, and is really deep. You can listen to it 100 times and notice
something different each time. Progressive house at its best.
