Favourite kitchen utensil??

Confused by what this is. Found in kitchen utensil drawer where I’m staying

It's used to seal an open bottle of wine (assuming the bottle had a cork rather than a screw top) or similar...


(It would be me that knows this of course but fuck knows how because I don't think I've ever opened a bottle and not finished it)
 
We used to have one solitary steak knife that was great for slicing bread-related products without getting the official serrated blade out of the block, but the handle was loose and someone threw it away :mad: Now that's out of the equation, I shall say my rotary grater. Not terribly efficient, but easy to use and you can hardly run a ball of mozzarella across a traditional grater.

You use a rotary grater to cut bread?
