or Irn Bru. :)

My favourite fizzy pop is organic cola, but that wasn't on the list so I went for ginger beer. I've rediscovered a love for ginger beer.

I bought some fancy "sour cherry fruit syrup" in Waitrose the other day, that's quite nice mixed with fizzy water.

cream soda and vodka! mmmmm.
Anyone ever seen a diet cream soda?

Sainsburys soft drinks are all made with sweetners now, and they do their own brand cream soda.

I used to love cream soda, but now the smell of it makes me want to hurl.

How dare you call Irn Bru "some kind of Orange fizz" its the greatest drink in the world. Must cut down though, drinking 5 2ltr bottles a week at the moment. Its just so nice. Goes well with vodka too.

well, that's just the classification - i didn't want the list to get bogged down with specific proprietary brands. there are other, similar orange-coloured gut-rotting drinks that are covered by that category.

Ah, that's handy to know. Cheers.

I used to drink gin and cream soda. I cant even take the smell of that anymore.

Damn you all and your rotten mouthes. Fizzy pop is the devils sputum, here to erode your teeth and nothing else!
At least that's what I'm telling my children

Dunno, I'm pretty sure though that's there isn't a lot of root in it, prob. just some number beginning with E.

You probably don't have this in the UK, but here we've got a soda called Doc Brown's Strawberry Kiwi. It's quite delicious and doesn't taste that sugary.

Since cleaning my toilet with coca cola and seeing exactly how clean and sparkling it made it, I'm kinda reluctant to put it in my insides

Vimto is best

but i also love Iron Bru and Tizer... oooh almost forgot Strawberry Lemonade is wicked but as far as a iknow you cant get it over here :(

i used to love limeade.

but it's all about Ginger Beer. :)
Have you ever tried making your own ginger beer from a ginger beer plant? I know it sounds like an April Fools joke but it isnt and if you've ever made one you'll know how fantastic the ginger beer tastes. Here's a recipe for the ginger beer plant: (from here)

Ginger Beer Plant

To make a ginger beer plant, and your first 16 pints of ginger beer.

1 level tablespoonful ground ginger
1 level tablespoonful granulated sugar
2 oz baker's yeast
1 pint water

ground ginger, approx 1 oz.
granulated sugar approx 3 oz

juice of 6-8 lemons
2 lb granulated sugar
Water to top up

By far the best way to make ginger beer is to cultivate a ginger
beer plant. With a plant you can carry on ad infinitum!

Put the yeast into a sterile glass jar big enough to hold rather
more than a pint. Pour in the pint of water, and follow with the
level tablespoons of ginger and sugar. Cover with a clean cloth.
Beginning the next day,Feed once a day one heaped teaspoonful of
ginger and sugar. By the middle of the second week the base liquid
for your ginger beer will be ready to syphon off. Keep the sediment
if you want to make more and more, because you can divide into two
jars, and start all over again!

To turn your base liquid into 16 pints ginger beer dissolve 2 lbs
sugar in 2 pts. boiling water and add the juice of the lemons, pour
this liquid into a 2 gallon sterilised plastic bucket, add one
gallon cold water and stir well, Stir in the previously syphoned
base liquid, top up with cold water until you have 2 gallons, and
stir the whole mixture thoroughly.

The mix can now be poured into it's final bottles, where it needs
to stand at room temperature for several hours before corking. Do
not jam the corks in too tightly. If the ginger beer turns more
lively, it is better for the corks to pop, than the bottle to burst!
It is probably best to 2"-3" headroom, and to use strong bottles!
