Favourite female stand up

ooh yes - very sharp  and very rude about her former employers ;)
and never ever sit in the front row if you are male unless you are seriously up for having the piss ripped mercilessly... guess where I'll be sitting with my husband MUhahahahahahaha :D

I'm actually in love with Lucy Porter, I was talking to her in Edinburgh last month and she's utterly, utterly lovely. Bumped into her the next day and she remembered me (and it made me blush) :o

I tell you, it's meant to be.

I just wish she wouldn't do those talking head things for 'Top 100 Yoghurt Adverts' type programmes.

I only saw her once live, but I loved Rhona Cameron - she took the theme of dysfunctional families (and a bit of Catholic guilt) and ran with it. Plus the slightly 'grumpy Scot' façade made it all the funnier!

Sad article in the Grauniad about the difficulties facing women doing stand-up.
Yeah, Rhona Cameron for me as well - great talent, very funny

Who is that Lebanese female stand up comedian? (I think she's Lebanese, I could be wrong...)

I have a vague memory of her being very funny.

Shazia Mirza? She looks a bit like the Sphinx.

John Rivers is very good in small doses. Linda Smith is good on panel shows, I guess she counts.

Someone once told me I look like Joan Rivers :(
