exactly the opposite. That's what i love about the design it looks like it is going to be all wrong (I am fussy about cutlery too) but when you have them in your hand and start using them they are amazing.

I bought a nice set from M&S in their sale a couple of years ago just after I moved to my new place but I'm still using the mis-matched bits and pieces I've had for years!
I am not a knife person (other than for cutting things up pre-cooking).
I just use a fork and a teaspoon (as I have a dainty mouth)
We've got about 4 different types of cutlery in our drawers... I like the heaviest set for knives and forks, but can't fit the spoons in my mouth properly.
Agree there Trashy! And I'm an Arne fan, esp his taps...
I do have a favourite cutlery set - we have two at home, and one of the sets remind me of kids cutlery (size, shape), so I prefer the other one, which is made of graceful lines and stuff.
