I love to zone out to The Chase.
If I am feeling really stressed/anxious is really helps me calm down weirdly
I do watch University Challenge and often get quite a lot right.
Only Connect is bonkers but very watchable due to VCM.
I watch Pointless at my parents , it's alright.

4 years and I still cry sometimes
When I'm at the beach there's a tv channel which is only old quiz programmes. At Christmas there were two days that were only The Chase. It was great fun.
And the 14 year old mentioned at the beginning of the thread will be 30 this year. I wonder what happened to him.

I like watching Tipping Point. Really just in amazement that the contestants would apply to go on a general knowledge show when then rarely have any. Also I am amazed how many put the counter in the machine when it is fully out & wonder why they keep getting riders. 
For actual quiz questions The Chase is good & Only Connect is frustrating when you hear the answers. Lucky to get two right before the last couple of rounds. Like the second round of Mastermind but only rarely no anything about the specialist subjects.
