The very name Tanya gets me going. When you say 'Bet' are you referring to Ms Lynch?

Pics goddammit!!

tanya

doesn't do her justice that

her natural cruelty combined with a northern accent just floored me at the time

I assume by 'chinless wonder' you are referring to Supreme Leader of the Hamster Rebellion, Gail Tildsley-Platt?

e2a...AHHHH yes, now I remember Tanya.

I think I'm going to put mine down to dementia danny. It can be the only explanation. I mean, I know my memory's crap, but to forget a whole storyline, that I actually watched??! :o

Who was the younger woman that was married to Mike Baldwin and ran off into the night and then folk thought that Mike had bumped her off? I liked her but I can't remember her :o

I thought that was quite sad actually

the whole dementia thing happebned way too quickly with Mike tho, that was the problem with that storyline. Not like the same story in the Archers with Jack who has been very slowly deteriorating for a decade.

I just googled her and apparently she became Tina Dingle in Emmerdale, I don't know who Tina Dingle is though :(

I think I must get out too much :D

I just did likewise, and discovered Mike Baldwins middle name was Vernon!

Yeh but it can happen quickly can't it? And tbf, there were signs a good year beforehand...

She was Tina Dingle before she was Linda Sykes, I recall.
In Coronation St she continued the Dingle's ever present "keep it in the family" sort of shaggery. She went off with Mike Baldwin's son. Who was also in Emmerdale.

true, its much less common tho. Had it not been for the fact that the Archers was running a very similar storyline I'm sure I'd have been quite impressed with it, the last few weeks were a great acting job. But when there's an alternate version at the same time that is so much better, it cant help butsuffer my comparison.
