Favourite chocolate bar?

I don't buy chocolate very often, but when I do it's normally a milky way or a bar of fruit and nut.

but if someone else is buying the chocolate I don't really mind what it is as long as it's not white chocolate *pukes*

Me too. OMG - they have Ovaltine chocolate! *faints*

Well, it's out of stock at the moment. But they can have it. *comes round*

I set up an email alert for when they have Sherbert Fountains in stock

erm, i am torn, i think its a tie between double decker, or twirl/flake/dairy milk/all the others that are just a slab of choclate.

i think perhaps double decker pips it at the post....

I buy milky ways because you sort of get the chocolatey hit, but they're not too fattening :o

and it was the only chocolate I was allowed when I was little :( dad would buy one of the twin packs and then let me have one of the pieces

I like most chocolate except dark chocolate.

Hershey shouldn't be allowed to be called chocolate

One of my favourites though is Code D'Or elephants

When I worked at a college, the American exchange students would stock up on Cadbury's Flakes to take home since they said Hershey's Chocolate was shit. Having tasted some, I'm inclined to agree.

These say otherwise:

The KitKat Chunky was a work of genius anyway.

TOTALLY! i love kit kat chunky!! Although I always have to warm it in my hands briefly so that the chocolate gets a bit soft and it's all melty yet crunchy in thy mouth.

The nearest I can come up with is sticking a spoonful of chocolate powder in your mouth.

Hershey's are foul

Yes, to me they say BLEEEEUUUUURRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH. Eating a whole family pack in one sitting, in the midday heat of Mexico, is not a recommended experience. The fact that they had virtually the same taste, texture and appearance as they lay in a regurgitated puddle on the concrete was the final straw.

I love Reese's cups. I'm not sure what my fav is though although that's got to be near the top.

Having said that I do like Hershey chocolate but I don't think of it as chocolate, it's just confectionery or "candy" to me cos it don't taste like what it oughta.

Hershey's has a vague taste of ammonia about it - it's quite addictive once you get past the initial gag reflex, a bit like those danish pepper sweets covered in ammonium chloride (or whatever it is)

Toblerone
Curly Wurly
Terry's Chocolate Orange
Cadbury Dream
Ritter Cappuccino
Some posh Green n Blacks-style chocolate - 'proper' chocolate, if you will - which I forget the name of which has chilli in it.
The coffee bean chocolate bar from the shop in the Arndale in Manchester which is similar to Thorntons, whose name I also forget.

There has always been something wrong with Hershey (sp)...never liked any of that, same goes for Australian chocolate, that always tasted different to UK even when the same brand though think there is stuff in there that is added to stop it melting or summit.....
