Favourite beer?

I agree 6X, if in Swindon then The Prince of Wales serves the best pint.

Thanks for the tip! :D

I only posted my favourite one on here, but saying as everyone is adding all their faves:

Tim Taylor's Landlord
Jennings Cumberland
Black Sheep Best Bitter
Bateman's Nimmo (although this is seasonal)
Kimberley's (now Hardy and Hansons) Peak Perfection*
Badger Golden Glory and Fursty Ferret
Oddfellows Post Haste

Yessterday I had a bottle of Batemans Combine Harvest. Bloody lovely it was. Nice, light, wheaty and hoppy.

Some good real ale porn here. :D

I'll have to go for my hometown's own beer

Umbel Magna by Nethergate Brewery, Clare, Suffolk.

A Coriander infused 5.0% belter. Bloody marvellous! :D

Theakston's OP when in UK, over here stick to Hefe Weizen,Erdinger or Paulaner usually, puts hairs on your chest and methane with a pressure of 100 Bar in your large intestines. :D

Mmmmm Hefe Weizen. I fell in love with that when I went to Wacken open air. I'll settle for erdinger over here though. I'm not intelligent enough to find hefe weizen on that beers of europe site. :(

Oh god, Hefe Weizen...parting from you was such sweet sorrow, especially coming home to the UK from Berlin to remember that offies and bars sell shite gassy lager instead of delicious, rich, creamy beer........

It's amazing how much HW we managed to fit into one short 5 night stay.

A word for Swindon's finest: Archer's Golden.
Archer's did a seasonal thing called Cupid's Arrow a couple of years ago that as fantastic. It's a corker of a brewery.

Oh. Sharp's Doom Bar n all. Wonderful stuff.

I'm drinking a lovely Well's Bombardier right now.

bombardier is lovely beer, but I have been boycotting it ever since in their campaign to have st georges day as a national day (why not), they had an advertisement promoting it as a private party for the english....
