:D

Peter Bagge, Chester Brown, Dan Clowes, Strangers in Paradise, Alan Moore, Preacher, Concrete, others.

Anyone remember Toxic, from the late-80s/early 90s? Marshall Law et al.

Also, does anyone still read Marvel monthlies? I was reading an old copy of Wizard the other day, and all the Civil War stuff is making me want to pick up those comics again, but at £2.50 for about 20 pages it just doesn't seem worth it. By the way, if you sign up on www.marvel.com you can read quite a few comics online. :)

Ooh yeah, I have nearly the whole set stashed away somewhere. More for posterity than cash value.

Other favourite's were Brain Damage and of course the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers.

Morrison: Seaguy , Flex Mentallo, Doom Patrol, Invisibles, Zenith

Ellis: Transmet, Nextwave

Moore: V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Promethea, Top 10

And in the random thing:

I've been enjoying joss whedon's run on x-men, she-hulk (single female lawyer!), a bit of exiles, batgirl (v2)

Oh and tales from the bully pulpit is excellent:

The comic stars Theodore Roosevelt, the ghost of Thomas Edison, and a time machine stolen from H. G. Wells, and has cameos from several historical figures.

Tales From the Bully Pulpit traces Roosevelt (or "Teddy") and Edison's adventure through time into the future, where Teddy discovers that a descendant (and look-alike) of Adolf Hitler has survived, and is planning on creating a new war and a new holocaust on Mars, this time pitting the green-skinned Martians against the blue-skinned Martians.
