Despite saying i am friendly with some muslims, you accuse me of being entirely negative... And saying that i dont think all muslims are the same.
Are you reading what i've actually said.

I'm not the only person getting this impression am I? Maybe its got something to do with what you've written?

having read the thread Blagsta does seem to be an ignorant arsehole who just loves his role of petty abuser. I presume he has some sort of personal thing going here that allows his pathetic abuse.

Are you sure you were in the army? Your attempts at insult are a well feeble. :D

C'mon, you're letting the side down, add a bit of colour and a bit of bite ffs.

An example of what happens when someone doesn't parse what they've written before posting it, or something more sinister?

Its just like a Mcarthyite witchhunt led by Laurel and Hardy....
2+2 = 17.

Somebody who says they are Islamaphobic must hate all muslims.......

Somebody who says they are anti economic migration must be racist.

And it doesnt matter if they say there not. They must be and that is all there is to it in the narrow world of orthodox left wing bigotry.

People jump to conclusions after making lazy assumptions..
VP seems to think he's Mr Marple.

Instead of carrying on being a wanker, why not consider that actually you may have given a certain impression by what you wrote?

Well i'm Islamaphobic based on personal experience of how brainwashed kids are by some mosques to hate from the age of 5. Loads of people will have similar experiences of the hatred, intolerance and sexism indoctrinated into young muslims.
There is nothing wrong with being Islamaphobic, I dont want to see any religion grow and definetely hate the stupidity of people falling for the kind of shit preached by too many Islamic twats.

tbaldwin said:
Crikey how many muslims have you known?

Do you have kids that go to school with muslim kids who go the mosque every day?

Or do you know any women who have been out with muslims?

My eldest son at the age of 8 was constantly toldthat he was an infidel,a jew,a christian,a heathen by kids of his age at school?

Women i know have been very badly treated by muslim men?

And i also know some people who grew up in the faith who are more than OK but in my experience they are in the minority.

I am seriously interested to know how many people really do have only positive experiences of muslims?

tbaldwin said:
Why would you imagine that i would tell lies about something like that?

It may fit your prejudice that people who hold different views from you are all ignorant or liars,i suppose.
But it's quite a jump isnt it. Loads of people i know have had negative experiences with muslims, including people bought up in the faith.
Do you really not know any?

How many Muslims have you known?

tbaldwin said:
Ive thought a bit about responses like this. Why do so many people claim to have met only tolerant and broadminded muslims, are they just making it up or have my experiences and those of people i know just been incredibly unlucky.
I guess part of the answer may be some people are exaggerating or lying but more likely they are talking about people they know who are H/E students, graduates who are probably more integrated and less insular in their outlook.

tbaldwin said:
I am hardly likely to claim to be without prejudice, but there seem to be loads of posters on here who have had overwhelmingly positive experiences with muslims.
My point was not that they MUST be lying but maybe there experiences are quite limited in the amount and type of muslims they have come into contact with?

etc

See a pattern? Its you who calls into question the honesty of people's experiences because they don't fit in with your views - then you accuse other people of doing that! Your chutzpah is astounding.

My negative experience of those who profess to be Muslims (really they are westernised Asian youth with little, if any knowledge of Islam) are those who threatened and tried to attack my brother, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It appears they picked on him because he was white and had cropped hair (at the time the BNP were standing for election in the area and it should be added were resoundly rejected). He managed to ward off the attackers and just managed to escape serious injury.

Another experience relates to a group of engineers at a workplace who have retreated to their particular racial/religious/sectarian bunker. Even other Asians there will not have anything to do with them and have told their white colleagues to stay well clear.

Thankfully, it seems this sort of thing is still at the margins. Although that could change.

The concern at the moment is division and communal violence raising it's ugly head.

Some of the hyperbole on here from some is not helping. Calm heads need to prevail.

Nah, chutzpah implies a certain flair to one's hubristic arrogance. One thing baldy doesn't have is flair.

Flares maybe, but not flair.

Maybe I meant...bullshit then.
