FA will investigate bribe claims

Carroll or Barthez?

To be honest any keeper following on from the Great Dane was always either going to look like he just wasn't trying or had mild brain damage.

the baldie one, i take your point about schmechel being a hard act to follow, bit some of barthezes fuck ups would have embarrassed a drunken sunday league keeper

aye but he was always a bit of a clown all through out his career.

why sheringham?

it was a well known fact that he was basicly responsible for the demise of our dressing room last season he was with us. He loves his gambling and while he was there matty etherington had to go to rehab to get over his gambling problems.

it would have fit, thats all.

Typical BBC sports site - no suggestion he was playing in the Premier League at the time, other than by unnecesarily associating the allegation and presumably an irrelevant part of his career in the 'article'.

Indeed. The fact that the article says he was playing 'in Britain' at the time points to Scotland doesn't it?

not done them all, but im guessing that one red and 3 yellows in the same game doesn't occur *THAT* often.

I won't post it cos it's not at all conclusive

were you checking for one red and exactly three yellows or one red and three or more yellows? if it's true that he persuaded three others to get themselves booked then there could still be more than three bookings in the game as there may have been other yellows given during the normal course of proceedings. it could have ended up with one red and four yellows for example
