Yes you are...and yes he was.Am I going mad, or didn't Preston also have Pinnock in front of him last season (i.e the play off final debacle)?

Away to Whitehawk or Weymouth if we get through tomorrow.

Might not have made any difference but the wall didn't bother jumping for their free kick at all
We have conceded more goals than Merstham.
Never happened.

There tonight right? Right???
nah sorry mate
Yes he did, presumably on the advice of the fourth official, before the red cards were shownI'm pretty sure the ref gave him a yellow for the tackle once the melee was over.
Preston has been a bit disappointing this season I think. When he first arrived last season he seemed very confident and positive - he was very dynamic in quickly distributing the ball and seemed vocal with the defence. This season he's looked like a different person to me - he's incredibly hesitant in dealing with any sort of pass back and he often plays his own defence into trouble by giving it to defenders who are under pressure. Royston spotted that and started chasing us down every time the ball went back to him - fortunately, not too many teams in our own division seem to have done that to us this season. Not sure what's happened but as things stand I'm not convinced by him as a long-term option.
I'd say the area where Preston is clearly an upgrade on Phil is on his mobility and confidence receiving the ball to feet and playing it out with his feet. I guess this is the prime reason he's been preferred to Phil, much the same as Manchester City offloading Joe Hart for Claudio Bravo. On balance I don't think there's a huge difference between Phil & Preston, but the latter is clearly better suited to the way the manager wants the team to play.I don't know where you stand but he is definitely vocal. Can't say I'd noted hesitancy on backpasses other than that he is looking to play a short pass to the defence. If you listen to the coaches on the sidelines that is how they want to play. By its very nature it is a risky strategy and will involve the defenders having to play out under pressure.
Walls shouldn't jump IMO. There's more danger of unsighting the keeper, or the ball skimming off someone's head and out of the keeper's reach, or being fired low through the wall. I don't like 'Leatherhead' walls on or off the pitch!Might not have made any difference but the wall didn't bother jumping for their free kick at all
