FA Trophy QF Replay: Macclesfield Town vs Dulwich Hamlet, Tues 7th March

No idea how England C works, do they pick almost a different squad each time?
Me neither. Just recollect reading a positive review of him in international he played. And a few league clubs had shown an interest in him. Might get a look at him again this season if fgr are in play offs.

I think the current policy, which has been in place for a few years, is to pick younger non-league players, under-21/under-23? not sure...it 'showcases' them, and they're a magnet for agents and scouts when they play.
By the very nature of clubs not wanting players injured, and very little kudos for having an England C player, the squads are usually decimated by withdrawals game-by-game, as I recall. Too lazy to research...

I'm travelling up independently. Anyone know what the procedure is for away fans gaining entrance to the ground tomorrow night? There seems to be a suggestion - and this may be out of date - that you can't pay cash at the turnstiles, you have to buy a ticket first.

If it's anything like the normal league set up for visiting fans then there is a ticket office with a dedicated window for away fans to the left hand side of the away turnstiles.

And said ticket office will remain open for away supporters until kick off!

Likewise fella. Whatever happens appreciate the words and looking forward to it.

Looks like he was playing centre midfield on Saturday.
No he was at CB but he does get forward from there and we have played him in front of a back four too. Strong candidate for player of the season and apparently another player chatting before the Gateshead away game said Ethan is off to Villa at the end of.the season. Certainly good enough no idea if that was true.
Macc did look poor at ours Saturday, quite narrow and not as good as the contests up at Moss Rose we've had.

After seeing him look like a lost soul in centre-midfield in the Ryman Premier less than three years ago, reading this is really quite incredible.

Apparently you trip over all the league scouts come to look at him at home games. He's filled out too and keeps getting stronger.

Woohoo, looks like I'm able to make this game after moving plans from last week to this week. I didn't think I'd be able to come tonight, but someone's just cancelled an early morning meeting tomorrow that I needed to be awake for :D
Best get the Quattro* fired up!!

*sadly I don't own a Quattro

London. :p
i don't think I've ever seen it outside its natural habitat with good reason
I had a pint of London Pride in Macc at the Jolly Sailor pub (Sunderland street opposite the snowgoose) the other weekend. Don't know if it's still on mind.
