Tactical masterclass on our part to spare Bruce a whipping at his old club's hands
What is the date of this game? Is it this coming Wed or a week later?
This coming Wed. BBC at 8.00
This website is always my friend for such queries.
Well done the Exiles, even if you have actually been home for years.
Only a couple of days and then it's Doncaster v Palace on Sunday and then Chelsea v United on Monday. Hurrah!
No hurrahs here, I'll just about be able to keep tabs on the Palace match...no chance of listening to it or watching it
Why so, hash tag?
I have my boy and his squeeze with me for all few days and we are going to the classic car show all day Sunday...still family is more important sometimes, especially as we never see them much.
I think we may well have had enough by 5 and will be in need of refreshment.
Come on The 'Port!
Some good looking cup ties this weekend is much/any of it on the telly?
Newport v City will probably be an amusing rugby score or the shock of the season
AFC Wimbledon v Millwall should be a good clash. Same for Swansea City v Brentford
Chelski v ManUre should be good (for a neutral) depending which Chelski side turn up
So BT Sport have got today's games but one on Sunday and the Monday PL tie on the BBC
Looking forward to the dons turning over the lions...its a bit of a game for them to stage
Feeling indifferent about the Palace match.
I hope Watford win it now so that we (Woking) can say that we lost to the winners
If Newport beat City I'll eat my hat.
Looks like Brighton have got this
I'm surprised no top flight club went for Cole. He might not be as quick as ten years ago, but the guy is total class (on the pitch at least).
Another lucky win for City then
There has just been a county person on the radio. City gave time more autographs, gave away their shirts, invited the Newport players into their dressing room.....
sounds like they done good.
Jeff Schlupp said post-match that Palace might get "one of the the lesser teams" in the next round. It'd be interesting to know if he meant Millwall.
He could of been speaking of any of the remaining teams
Cheering on the sport of football here
There won't be much of that, this evening...yawns
I was hoping for 8-8 after extra time. Then a 17-16 win for Chelsea on penalties. Load of red cards on the pitch and the two managers coming to blows on the touchline.
It is like a Poundland version of City vs Liverpool
I am wondering...are united trying to out do city
Watford away...ill take that
Have we got the best draw?
