First round proper, we were away at Oxford and it ended excitingly 0-0 after a scrappy game with both sides having chances, maybe we should be a bit more aggrieved as the underdogs and missing an open goal and hitting the post at the death. Would love to have a bit of a run this year and it was a good time to play Oxford if their form recently is anything to go by but they might be a bit more relaxed away from home at ours for the replay.
Oxford City did well to end 3-3 with tranmere and see Stockport knocked out Yeovil, Grimsby battered what was a strong MK Dons side too.

Dulwich Hamlet are already busy 'concentrating on the league,' so no FA Cup thrills for us.

Still, there's always the London Senior Cup to look forward to!

Ebbsfleet getting draw was probably marginally better than Maidstone knocking out Macc who've struggled and seem to be going backwards after their amazing season to get back into the league.

Great win for Guiseley home to Cambridge. Been to their ground for a league match, clubhouse serves both them and the cricket club right next door iirc

    That draw in full:

    Guiseley v Fleetwood Town
    Bury v Luton Town
    Wrexham v Newport County
Tranmere or Oxford City v Southport
Southend United or Crawley v Barnsley
Shrewsbury Town or Salford City v Scunthorpe
    Solihull Moors v Blackpool
Chesterfield or Billericay Town v Grimsby
Peterborough United v Aldershot or Bradford City
    Swindon Town v Woking
Maidstone United v Hampton & Richmond or Oldham
    Lincoln City v Carlisle United
    Morecambe or Halifax v Wimbledon
Plymouth v Oxford United or Forest Green
Barnet or Bristol Rovers v Stockport County
    Rochdale v Portsmouth
    Walsall v Sunderland
Accrington Stanley v Ebbsfleet or Cheltenham
Mansfield or Charlton v Chorley or Doncaster
Sutton United or Slough v Gillingham or Hartlepool

Wrexham versus County for some Welsh bragging rights looks tasty, away at Plymouth for us if we get past Oxford is a bit of a toughie.

As a longstanding 'Port supporter - I used to watch them with my dad and grand dad (who lived in Southport) at Haig Avenue when they were a league team - I can't help but feel disappointed at the result on Monday. I also grew up close to - and very occasionally went to - Moor Green's old ground (prior to their merger with Solihull Borough to make the more successful hybrid Solihull moors). So it has been a bad couple of evenings' entertainment on BT sports, though neither of the losing teams disgraced themselves. Shame I would have loved to seen Harry Kane play at Haig Avenue (Mersey Rail Community Stadium) - he is worth more alone than the combined club takings in its 137 year history.

‘Oh, you’re just taking the piss now’ was my reaction when they brought Kane on, but it was probably nice for some folk to see him play.

A great forty minutes, and then...

What a rubbish day....some fixtures at 12.30, some at 15.00 and some at 17.30.
I want to sit down at 17.00 and listen to all the results at once, waiting for the shocks, the replays Etc.

BT have both games today, Man Utd-Reading earlier, and Blackpool-Arsenal in half an hour. They've got Woking-Watford tomorrow lunchtime, and then the Beeb have the two games you mention.

I thought Reading played really well, until they got into the area, when they were shite.

Also, my thinking was that United shouldn't have had the penalty, because the offside pass was made before the fouling tackle. Am I misunderstanding the rules as they are?

So sorry for 3rd division Grimsby away at premiership palace today. Down to 10 men after 2 minutes and literally held out until the last kick to lose 1-0.
