FA Cup 2014/15

Bury away is hardly a glamour tie for Hemel if it gets through to the First Round proper for the first time in its history. :(

:D:eek::D 2-0 win. Next stop Bury away. Tonight's replay was the first time I've ever followed a game on twitter. 21st century teletext.

I did that for Tranmere v Chesterfield in a Johnstones Paint Trophy match a couple of years back. It's both weird and shit, innit?

It was the Hemel twitter account and for some reason they stopped tweeting after Hemel went 2-0 up with ten minutes to go. I'm guessing it was too much for the person tweeting.

either that, or fuck all happened. Which is common in Tranmere matches

Replays:

Shildon 1-2 Norton United
AFC Telford United 3-0 Spennymoor Town
Braintree Town 5-3 Weymouth
Dover Athletic 1-0 Eastbourne Borough
Halifax Town 5-0 Chorley
Harrow Borough 1-4 Basingstoke Town
Havant & Waterlooville 3-0 Canvey Island
Hemel Hempstead Town 2-0 Nuneaton Town
Lincoln City 5-1 Alfreton Town
Southport 1-1 Tamworth (Southport win 4-2 on penalties)
Wrexham 5-2 Macclesfield Town
Barnet 4-1 Chelmsford City

Bad result for Nuneaton but hardly a surprise as they are awful. Heartbreak for Spennymoor who were minutes away from winning the first game against Telford. Canvey Island fail to join neighbours Concord Rangers in the first round.

Revised draw:
Mansfield Town v Concord Rangers
Gosport Borough v Colchester United
Yeovil Town v Crawley Town
York City v AFC Wimbledon
Walsall v Shrewsbury Town
Notts County v Accrington Stanley
FC Halifax Town v Bradford City
Warrington Town v Exeter City
Eastleigh v Lincoln City
Basingstoke v AFC Telford United
Dagenham and Redbridge v Southport
Weston-Super-Mare v Doncaster Rovers
Peterborough United v Carlisle United
Cheltenham Town v Swindon Town
Bromley v Dartford
Braintree Town v Chesterfield
Barnet v Wycombe Wanderers
Gillingham v Bristol City
Portsmouth v Aldershot
Norton United v Gateshead
Crewe Alexandra v Sheffield United
Grimsby Town v Oxford United
Tranmere Rovers v Bristol Rovers
Southend United v Chester FC
Luton Town v Newport County
Stevenage v Maidstone United
Bury v Hemel Hempstead Town
Cambridge United v Fleetwood Town
Northampton Town v Rochdale
Dover Athletic v Morecambe
Port Vale v Franchise
Wrexham v Woking
Plymouth Argyle v AFC Fylde
Barnsley v Burton Albion
Hartlepool United v East Thurrock United
Coventry City v Worcester City
Oldham Athletic v Leyton Orient
Havant & Waterlooville v Preston North End
Blyth Spartans v Altrincham
Forest Green Rovers v Scunthorpe United

Lots of horrible north/south journeys in there, which is a shame for all concerned. Barnet v Wycombe looks tasty

Replays:

Hemel Hempstead Town 2-0 Nuneaton Town

Bad result for Nuneaton but hardly a surprise as they are awful. Heartbreak for Spennymoor who were minutes away from winning the first game against Telford. Canvey Island fail to join neighbours Concord Rangers in the first round.

The goals from the Hemel Nuneaton replay:

Nice kids pitch invasion at the end.

Hope Lincoln knackered themselves scoring five as FGR have them Saturday
Doubt it, Alfreton are in the midst of an injury crisis and at one stage were struggling to name a goalie.

Hope this continues, we play them soon

Lincoln are shit though so wouldn't worry too much

Will this twat stop calling a win here the "ultimate dream" for Warrington? Winning the cup would be ultimate.

Alex and Blades ended 0-0, what the hell happened to Swindon? ETA, oh, I see, an early sending off.

Sorry, JTG, but wtf, our first win under Micky!

Undoubtedly because of the support I showed for Tranmere, by shopping at Home Bargains today.
