Its called optimism, a trip up the M4 would be pretty boring if we went fully expecting to lose.

Fortunately, we have tasted the joys of cup upsets in recent years (beating the team that was at the time top of the premiership (leeds), holding spurs and the gooners to a draw and .. of course... the little matter of getting to the final in 2008).

Oh boy, Saints-Pompey better be televised. The whole of south Hampshire will stop for two hours.

Stoke were superb today, stuck to their game plan and stopped Arsenal playing the fantasy stuff they want to. And Matty Etherington looked class. Scuthorpe carved out some lovely-looking stuff too.
