VW Group is already heavily inmvolved in Sportscars via Audi and Touring Cars via SEAT. F1 and VW don't really seem to mix.

But with BMW and Toyota out there's two sets of employees and factories ready made with engine building facilities - you'd think someone would take them. BMW is likely to become Sauber again but Toyota who knows.

Presumably goes back to Sauber (aka BMW) as they're likely to be given Toyota's place.

It would be quite interesting to see though, particularly in light of the no refuelling rules in force from next season.

Yep someone should start one. Move that's been a long time coming really...although proba means we'll get Silver cars again, I quite liked the white/neon Brawns. And hopefully that means Heidfeld gets a seat next year

Hmmmm, so it's looking likely that we'll see Jenson vs Lewis in identical cars, that's going to be rather interesting...

What'll be more interesting is if Brawn sign Heidfeld & Rosberg...

...then Raikonnen lowers his demands to sign for McLaren.

It won't happen, but it would be odd to see Button clamour for a bearth at Manor or USF1.

I remember loving F1 GP on the PC yeeeears ago (93-94).

I'd memorised all the turns through playing it and when watching the F1 season the next year was amazed by how I knew all the turns on the TV as they were exactly as I had played them.

They then changed a number of circuit layouts and chose a few new tracks. I was livid as my in depth knowledge was now useless.

I also remember Sena's crash at Imola and afterwards going on F1 GP to re-enact it so I could understand it more fully.

Started playing the game yesterday - it is very easy to get into!

There's a quick start mode where you just accelerate, break, and turn the steering wheel. No need to worry at all about changing gears or even damage from bumping into things like other cars. In that mode you can just get a feel for driving the car around the track. That's what I'm doing right now.
