I was at school with a load of metallers when this shite came out, and they were all like "well, Nuno Bettancourt is the bestest guitarist in the world, cos he plays Flight of the Bumblebee backwards".
So I shot them.

Donnington, mid 90's I think , Monsters Of Rock festival. Cadburys thought it would be a good idea to hand out free Boost bars.
I think Extreme played after Sepultura, never have I seen so many chocolate bars launched at a stage when Nuno and the boys walked on

Might be wrong here....but everyone who thinks this song is crap can't sing and doesn't have any idea how hard it is to play it on an acoustic guitar and sing along at the same time , getting the harmonys right.....Cheesy love haired blokes love song but I love it!

I have...when it comes to this song in particular dub...my pleasure has always been in the melody and the harmonys. the lyrics aren't that important to me, still nothing wrong with a bit of cheese..now i'm learning to play the guitar I have also began to find pleasure in it for different reasons....what's the problem?

because what you originally said is that people who don't like it don't appreciate its complexity. Which means, by definition, that you believe things that are more difficult have more value than things that aren't.
