Extras with Ricky Gervais

Didn't like The Office - really REALLY couldn't watch it.

Extras - right up to the edge, one foot over the edge, balancing right on the edge + 1mm

Haven't seen them for ages.

The one that got me into the series was the one with Les Dennis - as painful to watch as it could be, but somehow I got through it and became a convert to Mr Gervais.

Then a good and trusted friend "dished the Dirt on Mr Dennis" when he was appearing in a Pantomime in Bristol and it would appear that he would have "NO BLACK PEOPLE WORKING ON THE WEEK HE WAS STARRING"

and went off him but still like Extras. Still just as painful but still bloody funny

The fly-on-the-wall realism comedy style is done much better by others, most notably on Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Thick Of It.

Extras was comic genius.
The office really wasnt for me though.

I generally can't stand him. Loathe The Office, his standup show is horrific.

But I don't mind Extras and I didn't mind that Ghost something movie he was in.
