No you weren't saying that
However some people read only the bits they want to see and go ahead anyway, so it's pretty important to be precise, particularly when the thread is in Suburban rather than Health.

No, you're quite right I wasn't saying that. I was going on my memory, and clearly should have looked back over the thread instead.
I might have said it, since that's what I believe. But in actual fact, I was responding, in good faith (I;ll knwo beter next time ) to a point you made, which was that it seemed a bit odd to use an alcoholic extract to treat a cirrhotic liver.
I agreed with you, and pointed out that it would still be a good idea to give milk thistle for cirrhosis, since it was "the herb of choice" for such a condition.
Edited to add, in order to be very clear: And then I said that the extract could be made with vinegar or cider.
And if anyone can be accused of misreading the thread it's you - there's a big difference between "herb of choice" and "treatment of choice".
I didn't mean you only seeing what you wanted to see and misreading the thread, I meant people looking for a quick panacea for excessive drinking
I wasn't getting at you at all, in any of this.

I have about a third of a pint of seeds and I think the trouble is probably not worth it - I'll buy the capsules next time but I am going to use these things up.
Just for the record, I'm no crazy drinker - I just found they helped with the hangovers.
