torrenting now.

:D

I would probably have bought it, but alas, it doesn't seem to be on iTunes and they won't have it in bloody Virgin here. Even if they did attempt to get some copies, I doubt they would be on the shelves for another 2-3 months.

because, as usual with Shellac albums, if you buy the CD, you get a CD. in a dull package.

If you buy the vinyl, you get a lovely package, heavy virgin vinyl and.. ooh, what's this? the CD as well, slipped in the sleeve :)

cos steve HATES CDs :D

Bloody hell!

Until I started moving country every year, I'd always buy vinyl. Can't really cart a gramophone around with me everywhere I go.

I knew they did it for the last album but didn't know they'd be doing it again. As much as I love 'em don't think I'd ever end up playing anything by Shellac out and rarely get the chance to listen to my vinyl LPs - CD is quicker and more conveniant for me (put on to MP3 player etc), whilst also giving the band the money (rather than downloading it).

1000Hurtz had quite a nice CD package. They didnt have the vinyl in the shop when I went to buy it, and the man said it'd take at least a week, so I bought the CD so I could at least hear it improperly whilst waiting for the vinyl to turn up! Still worth it, even after the cd slipped out of the album cover.....

Anyway, this albums a fucking belter, astounding sounds, amazing music

there's a couple of throwaway tracks as ever, but the main 4 or 5 songs are fucking unbelievable. And i expected to hate Paco (it irks me a bit live) but it's ace

That's the thing, even before I came to china, i was moving all over the place for Uni, etc, and with no car, records were just too inconvenient. If it wasn't for that, I would go for vinyl - it sounds waaaaaay better IMHO.
