To be honest, this is the direction most of the the cod-left has been heading in for a while.

A lot of what laughably passes for the far-left in Britain now has probably reached a similar stage, left-spectrum wise, to that of the Labour party during the Kinnock/Smith era. The trajectory from here only gets worse, as we know.
