Apparently Moyes sold the team's collective spirit to Satan last season in return for a top 4 finish. Satan agreed but with a clause that said if they failed to get through the CL qualifier they would have a disastrous season this year and get relegated.

Moral of the story - don't do deals with the Prince of Darkness - even if you look like a ginger version of Mo from The Simpsons.

Everton, in desperation, sent on Ferguson and the giant Scot instantly brought a fine save from Robinson with a trademark header.
Not going to accomplish much if you only attack at all in desperation, are you?

Kind of sums up their season. Of course, I support the Magpies and they are in equally dire straights. Dear god, what the fuck are they doing?

and before that i bet you were a man u supporter - and if you were into football in the 80s i bet you were a liverpool fan.

bloody gloryhunter!

Gloryhunter? Just because I am good at choosing the right club to support? And yes I was a Man U fan. So what?

EDIT: I'm joking.

LIVERPOOL ECHO (AP) - A seven-year-old boy was at the centre of a

A serious question...

...started this thread, before hijacking by gob-shites. One relevant point is we haven't got a functioning striker, or the serviceable wingers to use Beattie properly. But, look on the bright side--there's plenty of room for improvement. We are, & remain, THE PEOPLE'S CLUB!

Three points from a possible 24 has to be one of the worst starts to any premiership campaign?

It's about time Everton went down to be fair. They've been lowering the standard of football in the top flight for the best part of 20 years now, and it's time for them to find their level in the Championship.

If they do go, I wonder if they'll have the ability to get back up? Hope not.
