Everton 2014-15

Also TV money up £33.2m can't hurt.

The slip, and Crystanbul, makes that a worthy first place for English footballs most entertaining side.

This board has its roots in the south of England, so you expect lots of Liverpool fans.
You're right. Either that or there's never much to talk about ;)

Maybe one day Everton will be gentrified in a Dulwich Hamlet stylie too:cool: Just after the yuppies move into Kirby :D

The club has been quite well run recently which is never internet news.

Car crash clubs make better forum fodder.

Naismith's helping hand

Forward Steven Naismith reveals he has bought tickets for Everton home matches which will be handed out to unemployed supporters on Merseyside.

The Scot, who says he has seen how people struggle to find work through no fault of their own in his home city of Glasgow, has asked the Job centre to give the tickets to those "trying hard to find employment."

"I thought this might be a small gesture to help those in that situation to enjoy a day out at one of our league matches. Hopefully it can bring some joy to many people," says Naismith, 27.

Fantastic gesture from Naismith, not too keen on leaving them behind the counter in the job centre though.

Compounding the misery of being hard up and on the dole by sitting for 90 minutes surrounded by deluded bigots shouting and screaming whilst having to watch your lot play uninspiring hoof it football :facepalm::facepalm::(

He'd of been better giving out twenty bags and some bottles of buckfast :D

Looks like we've got Atsu on loan from Chelsea after all. Besic looks quality, so squad starting to shape up quite well.

My brother went to the Leicester game. Said Leics were terrible and we hammered them but stopped playing when we took the lead.

Worryingly stuck with Lukaku when we'd clearly run out of ideas and had a very promising looking bench.

T'was a good game from the North Wales Team  Not sure Big Nev would have let them in though in your Welsh champions Hey Day. Pat 'Psycho Taffy' Van Den Hawes is what you're currently missing in my book;)

A two year deal is a bit much, but as last Saturday showed we need someone to back Lukaku up and I would rather it was him than Welbeck on loan (or worse, bought outright) or Kone.

Not convinced. Hope he does well obv, but not sure. What do you think?
Pretty much that and what ag said. Happy to trust Bob though.
Signing Eto'o a couple of years past his best has to be better than signing Gascoigne and Ginola 5-10 years past theirs :D
