Ever gone posh at a festival?

So if I cancel my plans and go to Endorset I get to shag Firky in a tie-dye skirt? 
I was on the phone to teeps last night and her mum took hte phone off her to take the piss out of me about that bloody tent I had.

I finally took a tent with all the poles, pegs, fly sheet and everything matching at glade last year if that's what you mean by gone posh... 
fucking good job I went posh really given the weather, would have been shit to have done my usual tent with no poles / tent with 2 inner tents and no fly sheet / tent with 2 fly sheets and no inner tent / tent that rips down the middle so I wake up looking at the sky thinking 'I'm sure I went to sleep in my tent' / tent that is in fact actually more like a pond / tent that someone nicks before I get chance to put it up / tent that I've left at home by mistake / tent that I've put up while on acid and then never find again...
hmm... actually thinking about it, in all those years I only experience one slightly damp festival, last year I finally have a fully operational tent & bingo... worst flooding in living memory... I'm thinking maybe there's a connection... should I go and hack my flysheet to bits to appease the sun god?

We used to build a pub (capacity about 100), complete with bar and optics, stage, drumkit, working harmonium, chimenea (sp?) and bathtub at LARP events, does that count?

Quite a few festivals are offering myhab this year - wouldn't fancy one in a June deluge
They're £240, plus you can't stand up in them.
I'd hate to be the people who have to take the bed clothes off after the event. Several days worth of other peoples, mud, sweat, sex stains and dirt. Yuck!

I'd a small tipi for £300 if for a one off. Little fire box, table, couple of chairs, bed, lantern, cool box, cooker. Be ace

Oh, and the idea of them having their own little area with private toilets and showers sucks monkey balls as well.

We stayed at a B&B when we went to Reading for the day to see Morrissey. It was lovely so I felt kind of bad when I had to go back covered in mud and stinking of piss.
I walked through what I thought was a little stream of water. It wasn't, it was a ditch of fucking piss.

They're tiny. Better than a tent but you may as well pay an extra £60 and get a tipi if you're paying that much. If they were about £80 - £100 for weekend I would think about it.

If it could be packed down into something small and light(ish) so I could bring it with me and pitch where I wanted to I could be interested.
