While my peers used to favour "Led Zep" on theirs, I used to have a preference for obscure band names on my haversack at school in the 70s - "Wigwam" was one of them - though I'd only ever heard one track on Alan Freeman's saturday rock show, and I was disapointed recently when I came across the track "Nuclear Nightclub" online - I was sure they were more butch.
I don't think I ever wrote the name of Finland's guitar hero "Jukka Tolonen" on my haversack - being pre-internet, I wouldn't have been able to spell his name
