There's always a silver ligning and take the good from the bad etc. I watched the Austria v Crotia game with the 5live commentary. If England had qualified Steve McClaren would be leading out England's winning team but instead he was commentating on the radio. He was so brilliant that it made England's failure to qualify worthwhile. I renewed my TV licence this morning and I hope that my £139.50 go straight in to Steve's wallet.
