Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

That's why I was freaked out, but the relationship I was still dealing with disintegrated about 5 years before!

I think so, yes.
It's that old cliché - better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all.
If you were to disagree with that sentiment, you'd be saying there's no point in having any love affairs at all unless they are the ones that last til death, but you don't know that til you jump into one, and even if that doesn't work, you've had some fun.

Yeah your right I guess... Full steam ahead, eh

I'm gonna try and watch this film again soon... I really like it.

this is a Ninjaboy thread, intellectual people don't come on to threads like this:p;)

I think you'll find its the only place they post at all, as it gives them a platform from which to look down their noses at people.

Its the best fillm about the honesty and realityy of love over time that I've ever seen, and it gets better with repeat watching I think - seen it 3 times and it still makes me sad and happy at the same time

i love this film - got it on dvd so i cna watch it whenever i like
it makes me and mr vans smile cos we can get on each others tits but we loves each other and so can get over it

Human Nature was good too for a Gondry directed / Charlie Kaufman relationship flick .

Much better on repeated viewings.

That tallentless fuck spike Jonez can rot in hell like the twat faced fuck piged trust fund nobber that he is.

If that makes any sense

Like a hobbit who'd stumbled onto the wrong film set.

The film is great. I agree that it makes you feel happy and settled at the same time as making you feel pretty depressed and unsettled. I'm not sure I could watch it again actually, the second viewing seemed to hit me hard.

Aggreed for the most part but I thought he was amazing in sin city, better than the guy in the comic even.

Can't wait for Michael Gondry's new film "Science of Sleep" coming out later this year. I've heard varied reports about it so far, don't think it will be nearly as good as Eternal sunshine but should be well worth a watch.

Actually you're right he was very good in Sin City. I was so surpirsed I'd almost forgotten he was in it. I watched Green Street not long after so his redemption from shiteness was short lived.

It's a top movie.
But it's a bit scary because I found myself fancying Jim Carey.
Which is horrible :o

yeah.

how did he manage to be so desirable? i don't get it. and how did he turn into a real actor for the part? there's a bit of the supernatural about the whole film...I didn't want to hate Kirsten Dunst, Kate Winslet, or him. confusing. it's magical
