Best thing is to point and laugh at them innit really. They won't be around too long. Less than 4 years hopefully.
And the subsequent government will simply tear to pieces all these stupid Executive Orders.

Anyway I thought this was funny, and would encourage folk to add as many trump memes as possible.

South Park's creators say they've given up ridiculing Trump because satire is now reality.

"It was like what was actually happening was way funnier than anything we could come up with. So we just decided to back off and let them do their comedy and we'll do ours."

‘South Park’ creators say they’ll back off President Trump

I think it's more important now than ever to ridicule & undermine Trump.
I see it as the duty of all to try to trigger a serious mental breakdown episode in Trump's head.

^^^ I think as soon as he demands the red button he'll be quietly escorted to a soundproof room and injected with something nasty that won't kill him but would render him pant-shittingly incapable.

dont think turning trump and the alt right into cartoon characters is going to help much, they are dangerous people. its like kim jong un, everyones laughing at him for saying he can fly or whatever, meanwhile people are scraping bark off trees for something to eat

  23. If only people had spent their time and energy making silly pictures to share on the internet instead of getting out there and engaging then Trump wouldn't have happened.

    Oh wait...

I dont think I'm completely in agreement with the oft-expressed view that satire is obsolete these days, because I think satire was always based on very ridiculous things happening is reality, things that could be noticed without a professional satirist having to point it out.

Having said that there were certainly times where I felt like expressing the same sentiment towards the sort of gonzo journalism that Hunter S Thompson did so well on presidential campaign trails. Trumps campaign had gonzo wackiness built in from start to finish.

Getting out there and engaging - OK do you mean flying over to the USA, and trying to appeal to the vast rust-belt or bible-bashing fraternities that voted for him?
Explain what more UK folk could have done to prevent Drumpfs victory?

I for one made a concerted effort to engage as many people as possible, on US based right-wing sites and other virtual hellholes and comments sections of news articles, to highlight how much of a lying cunt he is, and by trying to break down the inevitable outcome of his possible win, but you have to do what you can within one's means.

I was also instrumental in presenting video clips illustrating his hypocrisy and his lies to an international TV audience, so one could argue I did whatever was in my (rather considerable at the time) power to present the relevant people with facts.
But you know how the word "facts" has come to mean a lot of alternative things lately.

My time and energy was well spent getting out and engaging. Trump was sadly inevitable.
You seem to underestimate the absolute hatred that a great many Americans feel towards Hillary Clinton, a factor that resulted in half the electorate not even bothering to vote. Only 25% actually voted for Trump, and he lost the popular vote as you know. I think if this thread may serve as one more tiny chisel chipping away at his credibility online (not that U75 has the internet audience share it used to enjoy) then it might contribute in a miniscule way towards the further decline of his mental health. Apart from that - what do you suggest could have been done by UK folk to get out there and engage??

What would really ridicule him and do his nut in, is a popularity poll of influential world leaders, one that put him well below the leaders of China and Russia.
