'ere! What's good to listen to these days then? I'm about 3 years out of touch...

Diplo's essential mix is far superior to the fabric mix.

Girltalk. I hated the first mix he put out (Nightripper?) but have to admit that I've been quite enjoying Feed the Animals. Especially the Let me clear my throat/Come on Eileen mash up, two tracks that have been overplayed to the nth degree suddenly become fun agai
n.

I disagree, La Greve Generale have a much broader palette and also their stuff isn't so constantly mutating, which gives you time to get into it more.

i like them both. it is possible to enjoy both y'know... :p i'd be tempted to say that la greve have been very much influenced by Girl Talk but i've not asked em so i won't. a lot of their stuff reminds me very much of his earlier (circa 03) bits and bobs :)

I've only got Feed the Animals. Brilliant from end to end.

yeah. it's grand. more of a collection of releases than an album per se i think, but that's just being pedantic ;)

"ritaul" is such good tune, it hurts

I bloody love it...

so many good tunes on it can't think of them all but particularly like minds and machines and bring in the funk

not very up on my jungle anymore - can you recommend any new albums of that type please...

My current top 4 fwiw in no order

The Presets - This Boys in love - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTSYQkyknK0 - possibly the gayest song i have ever heard (in a 'tops off and pushed up against a window in the Admiral Duncan way')

Elbow - Loneliness of the Tower Crane Driver - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3L2VlaHcaUI - like slowdive mixed with sigur ros

MIA - Paper Planes/Third World Democracy - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NZcybZV4i8Q - just acely head bobbing

Midnight Juggernauts - Into the Galaxy - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NZcybZV4i8Q ELO and David Bowie going to a glitterball 70's nightclub? Yes please!

I'll keep saying it til I'm hoarse - Gridlok 'break the system' is what you need in your life!!!

I've not got what.cd invites I'm afraid at present - should do soon though as I've got a 2:1 ratio

I did have stmusic invites but looks like they've booted me out for inactivity...

will happily make you a data disc though if you want?

Much obliged, squire, but it's ok. I can track 'em all down

this Gridlok mix is properly screwfacing

2nd tune (I think, 'Hollywood' sample) is knee-rubbing, shit yourself good.

I listened to Black Holes and Revelations by Muse this morning. It was good. Could have done with having a harder, nastier edge. The main single is superb.

I listened to Feed the Animals by Girl Talk again last night and enjoyed it so much I put it on at home and forced my Mrs to have a lounge rave with me. Even the cats joined in.
