On 7Digital they seem to have all the albums other than that one though.
Are "We Walked in Song", "Befriended" or "Now the Day is Over" worth a look at too?

Bohren Und Der Club Of Gore and lose yourself in an imagined David Lynch wilderness.

arvo part - cantus in memoriam benjamin britten has been rocking my stereo heavily for the past few days, and is exactly what you describe. you could do worse than having a listen to some of his other works too, i reckon.
i did a thread on a similar subject a bit ago - albums that threw up that were particularly fine were:
deaf centre - pale ravine (actually, pretty much anything on type records would fit)
the aforementioned fennesz album, which is superb... bohren und der club of gore is brill too.
the gas box set
isan - lucky cat
robert rich & b. lustmord - stalker
belong - october language
pan american - white bird release
the fun years - baby it's cold inside
tim hecker - harmony in ultraviolet
william basinski - 92982 (also, the disintegration loops)
there's plenty more to go at on this thread

In my all-time top ten.![]()
get jesu - the silver EP, especially if you like MBV...
No idea where you can find them online, but get yourself some Bohren Und Der Club Of Gore and lose yourself in an imagined David Lynch wilderness.
I always feel a little left out when music discussion turns to "Loveless" and indeed MBV in general.
I have yet to click with it, despite trying once a year or so.
Maybe I am due a retry.

Can it be epic and lush but also heavy?

OK. Then check out the Blonde Red head one at least.
