I have a confession to make.

At the peak of my dance craze - in the late 90s I bought a couple of Corrs CDs !  :o ;) :D

*points at GentleGreen*

hahahahahahahahahahah!!!

*kicks her Corrs cd under the sofa*

actually, I may not have it anymore.. it was bought in the days when my wanker controlling ex was decideing what I did and didn't like, could and couldn't read/listen to/watch/wear...

I'd like to put Enya, Dido and Annie Lennox in a large bag and leave it in Salford Precinct till someone stole it.

For what Cause would you die?

THE DRUMMER

Enya - filth
The Corrs - Filth
The Cocteau Twins - the other one was Simon Raymonde
The Aphex Twin - yes :)

Well the main one was Robin Guthrie whom last I heard was part of a duo called Violet Indiana, who are quite good but unervingly similar to The Cocteaus !

Robin Guthrie was fat and maried to Liz Frazer. He might still be both. Simon Raymonde (I think) was the third Cocteau Twin. He wasn't fat but may well be now as he must be nearing 50.

My mate has shagged Enya.

nah, she left him years ago and was at one point shagging Jeff Buckley. for fuck's sake.

she showed up at a party at the 121 Centre once in Brixton. THAT was unexpected :)

Hmmmmmm.....?? :) I imagine their love-child would be a fair singer.... if he/she existed at all.

A Enya thread and I missed it

Her new album is incredible. The sound is so Enya, yet sounding new and experimental at the same time. Some standout tracks:

Drifting is the finest instrumental she has done. The way the piano and cello intertwine playing the melody is stunning.

The River Sings - As close as Enya will get to doing dance. A Latin-esq track with a pumping baseline.

Someone Said Goodbye - A real sing-a-long track. Superb.

Sumserguia - A track that harks back to her Watermark days - stunning.

Water Shows the Hidden Heart - A simply haunting tune which is one of Enya's finestest ever tracks.

Ever wonder why Enya is one of the world's biggest selling artists? One listen of this album and you will know why.

(And oran-tang and Dubversion can fuck off - I don't care what you two say :p )
