I can only presume Enya has a significant generation of middle-aged types who still buy CDs and she has a pretty favourable record contract - or has her own label by now or whatever. I mean she
doesn't even tour, and I can't recall much of her music being licensed for film/TV for sync royalties (unless I'm hugely mistaken).
She is surely an anomaly in the world of music. Stupendously rich, non-touring, reclusive, only one or two top 10 singles and barely any mainstream success besides Orinoco Flow. I almost admire her.
