Chieftain, it's all very well saying Lehmann isn't as good as Robinson. But let's think back to the world cup quarter finals for a second. Germany were playing Argentina, who had looked the best team by far in the previous couple of rounds. Lehmann however, wasn't having any of it, and the Argies folded in front of him. We on the other hand fucked up our penalty shootout against portugal; OK part of that was down to our penalty takers also being shit, but Robinson didn't intimidate the portugues takers at all.

the simple reason for this is because Robbo's not a Hasslehoff impersonater like Lehmann

anyway, being able to save the odd penalty doesnt make you king of the keepers now does it??
