one without white/ green and red dragon tinted glasses
But a fucking massive pair of English rose tinted ones!
Oxlaide-Chamberlain has tried to do far too much himself today, and shot when passing was the far better option.
Best England team in living memory?
They'd be quite difficult to look through.
make yer own minds up.
never a red imo (especially witht he new ruling)
Whatever people say about England, the word "convincing" will rarely be used.
if you were born yesterday yes.
the new ruling just says that sending off is not automatic, not that it cant be a sending off. FAIL.
I can see why Arsenal got rid.
He was terrible tonight. Had some great positions which he promptly fucked up.
Have a proper look at it. The Slovak forward tries to do a back flick with his right heel to hold the ball up onto his left foot (before Walker even gets near him). He's body is committed to this move but his right heel doesn't connect with the ball how he intends but some how flicks the ball away from himself. Then Walker comes in for the challenge, by which time the Slovak doesn't even have control of the ball and has already started throwing his limbs around claiming the foul.
Great decision from the Ref!
What a fucking comedy of errors from England leading up to it though
He can't be very old then.
He stayed on his feet, didn't lunge in and there doesn't seem to be any intent. The ref can't give a red for that imo. The first tackle is a bit reckless but no red.
Seriously, the current team doesn't get close to the haplessness of the early 90s. I don't even blame Graham Taylor, who was actually a good manager doing his best with appalling players. Batty and Palmer, ffs. And Nigel Clough. What a midfield.
I know football sufferd a dip back then but there was no excuse for that team. Did he give Steve Bull ( Wolves striker) a cap back then too ?
Oh, you don't want to know the joys I had going through the teams just now looking for the worst of the worst. Look at this bullshit. Andy Sinton, for the love of all that is holy.
I like to think i know my football, but Earl Barrett playing for England is one that went over my head.
Apparantly according to him he's more of a central midfielder
As a Wednesday fan this whole discussion is triggering...
