England Vs. the Windies home test series

Broad is next man in too. Followed by Bresnan, Swann, Onions, and Anderson. So a nice long batting order there. :(

be fair to Pietersen (and I try to avoid it tbh), it was a corking ball

I just heard on the radio from Darren Gough that KP straight away went to practice in the nets after he got out, which is good to hear.

no he didn't, he spent ages looking cheesed off in the dressing room according to the telly

By the bye, why is it that with Broad, I get the impression that he's going to be one of those too-good-to-bat-8-not-consistent-enough-to-bat-7 players?

Fine if Flintoff's there at seven (Flintoff should never bat above seven imo).
ATM, I wouldn't put Flintoff at 7 either. I can't recall the last time he contributed much with the bat.

That's an outrageous piece of fortune for Broad just now. Juggled drop at slip by two different fielders.

Flintoff/Broad as a 7/8 unit is ok, though – two 7 1/2 s

You're probably right; so then it would be a question of bowling form between Bresnan and Onions as to who made way.

E2A: assuming, of course, that Flintoff's ankles and knees could be relied upon to last a whole 5 days.

100 for Bopara. Really good innings considering the circumstances, and one which would never have come from Bell.
