Italy come back from 0-2 down to win 3-2 agin Cyprus at home,Cyprus are pretty usefull,get a decent qualifier group and they might make a major tournie.

Lennon should go to the WC I think, Wright-Philipps I dunno. Milner looked very good even playing at left back so i'd take him as a squad player with the versatility to play left/right and centre/wing.

Yep Green is getting worse and worse if possible, so utterly absorbed with his own opinions that he seems to forget there are listeners to his mindless rants. They did the classic 'doesn't that silly Belarussian have a long name that even though I am supposed to be a proffesional commentator I can't pronounce' a few times as well...tosser.
Overall a decent enough performance, bit disjointed at times but considering the changes to the team that was to be expected and it was a good win. Good save from Foster...still very wary about him though.
I am sure Gaby and Cole will not go to the WC now...Rooney and Heskey I reckon are certanties from Capello's previous games and Crouch and Defoe are prolific. Crouch is fantastic for England. Thought he was excellent last night and his scoring record for England makes me think he should nto only go to the WC but will be challenging for a first 11 place.
Beckham played really well from what I saw on the TV. My TV is fuzzy has hell so I turned down the sound and listened to the radio....from Green's commentary I would have assumed Beckham had not had a decent game.
Milner offers a lot in terms of versatility - would have loved his shot to sneak in - would have a lovely goal.
