With strauss and pieterson in shit form i really dunno whats gonna happen, im just seeing if my way of predicting will work in my favour, cos you see whenever i think were gonna do well we fuck it up. ;)

Why is it whenever we lose a wicket HE must get out STRAIGHT after. Were now 129 for 3 after it being 1. I used to like strauss but lately he keeps letting us down at crucial moments. Now watch pietersen give his wicket away.
 
Yeah i know fair enough he got a decent score, but its like he just gives up once someone else does..typical englishman i guess! Oh well a lead of 280 is still decent, really need atleast 350 maybe 400.

Can't believe that news about anderson, wtf were they doing playing football while the test match is yet to finish? I know this was at the end of the day but that's really stupid. Sidebottom will have to step up again it seems, 421 is enough and new zealand will have to break a world record at wellington ian botham said in order to beat us, he thinks we should've bowled yesterday while the nz players had spent all day on the field, and i have to say i agree..
 
Collingwood's in good bowling form at the moment too so hopefully it won't be the end of the world if Anderson can't bowl. Lousy news though :(

Hmm, I may be wrong but I wouldn't back Colly to rip through a side - He can wobble it a bit but all the wickets he took in the first innings were tail enders. The player who will really be tested if Anderson is crocked is Stuart broad who I am not convinced by. I can't really see why the selectors are infatuated with him. I will be delighted if I am wrong though.

It's be a test for Monty too, as he'll have to tie an end down on a pitch that isn't offering much while each seamer gets their rest. If it goes long, then Ian Bell might get a bowl too.

Mind you, I just looked at his averages and they were better than I thought. I'm just not quite sure why he has been picked as the next big thing as opposed to some other players. I suppose it's cos he can bat a bit and is tall, hence replacing Harmy. If he is the real deal and Adil Rashid develops, then in 2 years we could have an excellent lower order.
 
Maybe he was just nervous this being his first match? I'll reserve my judgment for now, but really i'm not sure why he's been so over hyped either.
