England v Kazakhstan

Well done to Fabio Capello. I think we finally have an England coach who knows how to work the team.

How many top level football games can you say that about?

Good on the Kazakhs, they got an excellent attitude, very young squad and hopefully they'll do well in the future.

Only really bad thing was the booing of Ashley Cole, OK passing across your goal while deep in defence is summat he should've learnt not to do in the Arse youth team FFS, but booing him was only ever gonna make things worse.

1). Call that a 'top level' football game?
2). 'Good on the Kazakhs..'? Nothing like a bit of patronising of these 'lesser nations' is it?
3). No point thinking logically about England fans. They are the most clueless bunch of retards ever to grace the planet.

Could not watch it as I was in the air but England doing pretty well to score 9 goals in two games.
Not the stiffest opposition I guess but to keep scoring is most unlike England.

Thanks to Ashley Cole for mucking up my bet, although at half-time 5-0 was looking highly unlikely.

I think I'm done with attending home games though. I said that after attending the first four games at the new ground, but I really mean it this time. It's just soulless, it leaves you feeling empty inside. Plus it's a nightmare to get away from if you leave it later than 15 minutes before the end (meaning I missed our last three goals) and there are too many 'audience members' rather than fans in attendance these days. The old ground was a shithole, but at least it generated a decent atmosphere and was an intimidating place for away sides to visit.

I'm beginning to think we shouldn't have bothered spending all that money on Wembley, we had better support when travelling around the country.

As Badgers said - 9 goals in 2 games and people are complaining?

Where's that Picard face-palm picture?

I bet we play better away at Belarus than we did in front of our 'fans'.

.

I was saying this all along. A fucking great waste of money that the FA could have put to use in so many more constructive ways.

We have plenty of fantastic stadiums all around the country capable of hosting international football and the finals at Cardiff were a resounding success according to fans who went to them.
