I was humming along whilst watching it. I am anti-monarchy, anti-empire. To me, the things like songs/flags/emblems etc mean different things to different people. To liberal lefties, it means "empire" and "nationalism". Therefore all iconography relating to England must be rejected.
To most people, singing songs at England matches, waving the flag etc means supporting the team and country, not the monarchy or a particular political viewpoint.
