Actually that reminds me of what we used to do in Mile End. We'd heard of Champagne Supernovas, so we improvised by pouring speed in White Lightning. Man, that was good.

In the end we combined it with turbo shandies to make turbo snakebites. Good stuff. Stella, White Lightning, Smirnoff Ice, speed, and some blackcurrent squash to add a bit of colour. perfect summertime cure for a comedown.

Well I'll stick with a Brixton Crippler.

1. Take one very large line of ketamine.

?3. Then drop a shot of gbl into a pint of white ace.

&88*. Down in one.

That doesn't sound terribly recreational :D

There is always the "Ballsweat"

One shot of neat alcohol with a tablespoon of tabasco stirred in. Down in one.

75 cocktails will take about 6.5 litres of spirits, 14 litres of mixers, 3 bags of ice.

Should cost about £70-80 so a bit over a quid a drink. And while that won't compete with the value a bottle of White Laser can offer, hopefully it will be a tad more palatable.

What are you like :D Do you really think I am going to be pissing about with egg whites and two bottles of £20+ spirit for one drink? And in the middle of a field at that....

Was worth a go :D

I will probably be bringing a bottle of rum for myself but I may also bring along that bottle of Grass vodka I won the other week to dish out - if I don't drink it for my Birthday that is :)

Yup v excited i hope i still have cool straws left and i will drink anything that doesnt have gin in it. Rah cocktails i loves em.

I generally like to have a balanced offering. So one or two vodka based, one or two rum based, one tequila based and perhaps one gin based (possibly an English Rose - if I can locate some grenadine). And then a Long Island mix.

I'm so up for this :) will happily drink almost anything! especially mo-ji-to!!!!

as for the firky requested Honey Berry Sour... just omit the egg white, and stir/shake together the krupnik, chambourd and lemon juice. fucking luscious...

firks: you n me could bring a bottle each and just drink very excellent cocktails all weekend :)

If you want to bring them and some lemon juice - I'll have ice and things.

Personally the idea of eating raw egg on the first day of a festival seems somewhat unwise :D

(rushes to portaloo)

That's not a bad idea you know! I will have a look in Threshers and see if I can get a bottle of one or the other. Do you think you could use mead as a subsitute? Pretty sure lidl do chea rasperry liquer too.

Lush drink but it does have a habit of making me puke if I have too much of it (probably the egg white so it shouldn't be a problem) :)

Sweet alcohol isn't best as a 'session' drink. It tends to make you puke.

I've always prefered sour drinks with perhaps a little sweet pick-me-up.

You don't realise that at the time however.

"mmm that's really nice, I will have a fourth."

two hours later....

happy to fit in with your plans (as you know :D) let me know if you want me to bring anything etc

Cool - there should be some fruit juice and pop for your little ones if they want to come too :)
yes, i don't have any little ones of my own :( :hmm:

i just borrow other people's infants, perform fiendish experiments on them and return whatever is left at the end to the rightful owners.

ouchmonkey??

Sounds great, Idaho. Thanks for sorting this out.

No  no "mead", no cheap lidl subsitutes!!!!

:p

Ahhhhh - I do love cocktails but can only have one kind at one sitting, otherwise I get the world's most shocking hangover the next day and that's not great to do when in a tent. :(

Between mojitos and margaritas though, I'll be abolutely fine. Is it easier for you to bring everything, Idaho, or do you want folks to contribute? What is best? Happy to bring a bottle of something along if it helps - let us know...
I did arrive at the wonderful Fri AM cocktail stand just as it was finishing last yr too, so hope to sample some more this time! :)
