End of windows 7 support, time to upgrade to Win 10

a_chap

When the world came apart, where were you?
How much memory do you have ?

I upgraded a bunch of people’s pcs to 10 about three years ago when it was free and they were all noticeable faster. But they had a decent about of memory.

As for how much memory I have, I can't even remember what I did yesterday...

tbh if you are only now considering upgrading to Win10 you did well to last this long.

Ages ago I dumped Win7 and once I had Win10 on my machine I didn't look back.

Yes there were some programs that didn't make the change with me, but that is often the way, usually there is something else that will do the same job.

There must be something wrong with your installation because Chrome is rock solid. Have you tried disabling extensions/plug ins?
It's rock-solid so that Google don't lose any of the extra tracking data they get from you just because you use Chrome. I'd recommend Firefox over Chrome any day.

There's loads of options to minimise tracking. Firefox was bloody awful the last time I used it.
