That vase.
how about this - email me a song on mp3, and i'll send you one back - any genre, any band, i don't mind... obviously, they should be free of any copyright restrictions ;).

kind of like uburn, but with only one song. :)

[email protected]

cool - you can have a couple off the isobel cambell/mark lanegan album then (i checked with isobel - she told me it was ok ;) )

i like this game. you'll all have to wait till i get home to get your replies, but rest assured they'll all be good. :)

sent...

no problem at all - you may well hate what i send back...

is it one of your own compositions?

Nah, a good friend of mine - acoustic singer songwriter. Although I used to play piano in a band with him once :p

Ooh, he has a gig in London this Sunday.

Cheers. Next time I'll send you something decent too.

i just sent you an email killerb. you got what was in my playlist at that moment in time.

should anyone want to mail me i am [email protected]

oh and I dont like trance music. or happy hardcore. or gabba. or death metal. but if you want to send that then go right ahead.

flashman - i'll deal with you later.

rutabowa - billy childish: very good. in return, you get beck - he's a mighty good leader, a fine cover of skip james' blues classic - can be found on the 'one foot in the grave' album, if you like. :)

iemanja - bola: tres chilled. sounds like good 6am music... you get chet baker - my ideal, a disipated junkie's take on one of the finest love songs of all time. :)

top biller - one of your own - i'm liking it: kind of filtered disco breaks, then funky synth, etc.

for you - vitalferox - eclerotica, french techno par excellence - man of the moment vitalic, teamed up with al ferox of dancefloor killers. nice and hard for ya.

crispy - some strummy folky stuff - needs more listening before i can give an opinion, i think, but it sounds good so far.

you get condor moments - jigsaw jazz, a demo by one of my favourite bands. no-one's heard of them outside preston, but thats only because they're lazy bastards. hope you like it...

dynamicbaddog - hmmm... it made me laugh.

for you - de la soul feat. cee lo - held down, a fine gospel hip-hop track. :)

i'vebeenhigh - 2 songs from you, i like - some friends of mine supported okkeril river when they played manchester last year, and have been raving about them since, so it's good to hear them.very good. the crystals also rock it.

two in return for you - the handsome family - don't be scared southern gothic finery, and kimya dawson - anthrax, a rather fucked up protest song by her out of moldy peaches.

flashman - you get two songs off the isobel cambel/mark lanegan album, rambin' man and the circus is leaving town. go and buy it tomorrow though.

i won't tell anyone what you sent me...

that seems to be it for now...

remember folks, if you want to take part in the killer b mp3 exchange programme, just email an mp3 to [email protected] - and i'll send one straight back to you!

you know it makes sense. ;)
