I don't get how people can complain about jacko being cheesey and then profess a love for jail house rock and viva las vegas.(might have been different people to be fair but still!....) They are both cliff richard cheasey for fucks sake and have been used in cheesey musicals starring elvis being really really cheasy.

My post has been much misunderstood. The Jackson 5 stuff is not bad for being cheesy. I like it. My point was just that it's the only MJ stuff I like. I think it was his best work. I don't think cheesy is (necessarily) bad. I just think it's some of Motown's cheesiest output.
