Electronic music with spoken word vocals

Can't believe I didn't post this when I was posting earlier on the thread:

I remember hearing this for the first time on a Pete Tong radio show (probably an Essential Mix). Weird vocal:

Sometimes, you're better off dead
There's a gun in your hand and it's pointing at your head...

;)

A bit less naff but more shouting than spoken word:

My first choice has been posted already by killer b four posts above. That LP remains the greatest slab of vinyl I have ever heard but NOT owned. It took me over 10 years to find out what that tune was, copies do come up for sale now and again but always for stupid amounts of money.

So I will go with this.......

Or this.....

Here's a wee question for the smarter folk, because I can't think of the song titles.

1. There's a spoken word track with the lyric by Irvine Welsh. I think it's along the lines of "I don't want to be your facebook friend.."
2. There's a track quite frequently played on 6 Music - old, old reggae tune, but with an added story on top.

Anyone know what they are? :)

And not heard this in a while...

Close. 50p

All I can say to that is.... well done and dug, you must have been chuffed :-) That tune is amazing it holds so many memories for me. I have it on a mix tape a very special person did for me back in 94/95. I actually think the vocal was lifted from a Ralph Falcon tune I have from even earlier, either that or they both lifted it from the same place. It is Tim Leary so it probably came from one of his spoken word tracks.
