whats the point you know whos going to finnish in the top 2 every year anyway!

Umm so why is it only cambridge and oxford that get to compete? How comes no other unis get to race?

There's a shitload of other races, a couple nearly every weekend around the country, that you can enter. This is a private match for Oxford and Cambridge, they don't have to let anyone else play. In rowing it's the hosts of the race who chose who can enter in what (ie we'll let 8s and 4s race but no singles and a maximum of 100 boats), most races are open so that anyone who can make it and has a crew that qualifies can enter but smaller races are common, we hosted one earlier this year which was just us and two other unis with a handful of crews.
